FAQ

  1. Get into the Contest Page here.

  2. Click "Enter now!" to join the contest!
  3. You can see your game information on the right side of the page.

    Of course you need to sign in first. If you don't know how to sign in/up, click here for more information.
  4. Click "Edit" button to fill in your game info.

    Choose one game:Choose one game you want to win the prize in the drop-down list box. Then click "Add Character" button to add your character info.

    You have to fill in your server, Game ID (game login username), In-game Name (in-game character name). You can also fill in your Class and Level as you wish.
    Make sure all of your game info is correct. It will be used to distribute prizes after the contest is over.
    Click "Add" button to submit your game info.

    You can click "Add Character" to add more info if you have more than one account in this game. But you can only choose one to get the prize if you win in the contest finally.
  5. Select the option in front of Character 1 or other character as your final decision. You will see a red circle around the character info when you select it successfully.

    You can edit your character info directly in those input boxes then click "Save" to update it. You can also select one of your character info then click "Delete Character" to delete it. Click "OK" to submit your final decision and go back to the contest page.
  6. Choose a pirate ship or a fire balloon in the flash to start a battle!

    Different monsters can be found in pirate ships/fire balloons which represent different games. After each battle, you may lose some HP and MP, while getting certain amounts of coins and EXP.
  7. Click a pirate ship or a fire balloon, and you will see the animation of the battle. Select the "Skip the animation" option to prevent it showing again.
  8. If you want to see the animation next time, just cancel the selection of "Skip the animation" after the battle, then click "OK".
  9. If you're lucky enough, you will see the Gift Storm!

    The storm is coming with random gifts, including HP potions, MP potions and EXP packages.
    Click the gift image to get the corresponding gift.
  10. You can see your current Level / Attack Power / HP / MP / EXP here.

    Watch your HP and MP levels! You can't go on with your adventure if you run out of them. As you level up, your attack power (Atk), as well as the recovery rates of your HP and MP will be all increased.
  11. There are two ways available for you to level up:
    (1) Gain EXP from battles;
    (2) Exchange your scores gained in the mini game (details will be given below).
  12. You can use magic to fight against monsters.
    (1) Cannon Fire.
    You can launch double attack to monsters by using this magic. It will cost you 20 MP each time.
    (2) Excitement.
    By using this magic, you will get double treasures when the battle ends. It will cost you 10 MP each time.
    (3) Sacrifice.
    Tribute 30HP in change for 20MP each time.
  13. You can use some potions to heal yourself after battle.
    (1) Red potion: Recover your HP.
    (2) Blue potion: Recover your MP.
    (3) EXP package: Add certain amounts of EXP directly.
  14. To prevent some players from cheating in this contest, we will implement a flexible checking system! The check will be initiated randomly. When it is initiated, you will see a simple math problem with a clock beside it.

    Solve the problem correctly within the time limit , and then you'll get 20 EXP and be allowed to go on with your adventure. You can't go on with your adventure until the problem is solved correctly.
  15. You can see your remaining coins at the bottom left of the contest page .
  16. When your HP and MP are run out, you can go to play the mini game to have a rest and gain EXP for your character as well!
    Click "Jump the plank" to play the mini game.
  17. Mini game page

    Click the "Start" button to play the game immediately.
    Click the "Description" button to learn more about how to play the game.
    Click the "Back to ship" button to return to the contest page.
    After entering the mini game, you will see your character information on the top of the page.

    Here shows the number of your character’s lives.

    This is your total score board. All the scores you get in this game will be recorded here.

    Here shows your current game scores in three columns. Every time you jump to an upper plank successfully, you'll get some scores. The scores you get will be first recorded in the right column. Once 10 scores are accumulated, the scores in the right column will be cleared with the middle column displaying "1". Similarly, when 10 scores are accumulated in the middle column, the 10 scores in this column will also be cleared with the left column displaying "1".
  18. When the game is over, you’ll be shown three options:
    (1) Start New Game. This option allows you to start a new game without recording your former scores.
    (2) Play Again. With this option selected, your former scores will be saved and the scores you win in the new game will also be added to your former scores.
    (3) Exchange to EXP. If you want to go back to fight against monsters, don't forget to select this option to convert your scores to EXP. 1 score = 3 EXP.
  19. Exchange prizes
    After gathering many coins in the contest, you can click the banner on the right side of the page to exchange your coins for prizes.

    You will be led to MMOsite 4 Year Exchange Store.
    You can exchange your coins to win a lucky draw chance in the contest or exchange the coins for keys from game officials.
  20. Invite your friends
    If you have fun joining the contest, don't forget to share it with your friends!
    Enter your friend's email address, then click "Invite" button. You will meet him/her in MMOsite very soon!
  21. Top list explanation
    You can see two top lists on the right side of the contest page.

    The top 10 MMOsiters who have the most coins will be listed in the coin top list.
    The top 10 MMOsiters who exchange the most chances to join the lucky draw will be listed in the Exchanged Chance top list.

    In honor of MMOsite's 4 year anniversary, MMOsite Answer is holding a Q & A contest presenting with various common questions to MMOsite users; this contest will last one month starting from June 11 through July 11, where 10 questions will be given each day and the winners will be announced the next day; there will be 150 winners in total, each of whom will be rewarded 50 points.

  3. What makes this contest different from our previous answer contests? All the questions given in Answer’s MMOsite 4 Year Anniversary Q & A Contest are related to MMOsite, which are aimed to test how much MMOsite users know about MMOsite and help them learn more about it.     During the event, each day we will hide 10-20 MMO Gold coins in the posts on MMOsite Forum (usually in the posts displayed on the first page of the Forum, but not necessarily on the first page of the posts). And all you have to do try to be the first to find out the coins. Step 3:

    Once you find an MMO Gold coin, reply this thread, and do remember to contain the MMO Gold coin image and the corresponding post link in your reply. Event Schedule:
